Strangles Beach added to the Photo Gallery
I have just uploaded images taken at Strangles Beach, Near Crackington Haven, Bude to the Photo Gallery. Strangles Beach is situated a couple of miles south of Crackington Haven and to get to it you can park at The National Trust car park at Trevigue (Free but limited spaces), and then walk to the coastal path from where you can gain access to the path which leads down to the beach. A word of warning here, the pathway is quite steep in places and also descends about 400 feet to the shoreline, not that difficult going down but hell coming back up! You should also be aware of the state of the tide as parts of the beach can be cut off from the only access point at high tide. Look out for Samphire Rock and the unusual rock formation known as Northern Door. You should also be aware that this beach is used by Naturists, although as far as I am aware no specific part of the beach has been reserved. View the Gallery…
