Wednesday 16th May 2007 - Week 20
This weeks photos come from a visit this weekend to Widemouth Bay, Near Bude, North Cornwall. This was another day which didn't start out too promisingly, with heavy cloud cover and sporadic showers. After lunch the weather began too improve, so I thought I would take a chance and venture north to Widemouth Bay. As you can see below the weather really brightened up by the time I arrived and although there was a fresh wind the light was perfect. The thrift was still out as you can see and I make no excuses for taking more photographs with this plant. To me this plant is synonymous with Spring in Cornwall, although thrift can be found in most of the coastal areas of Britain, so if you want to see this plant get yourself to a coast near you.
